" The fashion industry needs to recognize petite women. Even though I'm of average height, jeans are still too long for me. Also many other clothes just don't fit right. Designers need to realize they need to specialize their clothing to fit every woman. There also needs to be more runway models."
-Becky Kamrath 5'4

" Since the average American female height is 5'4 the high fashion/ runway markets should incorporate this measurement to enhance their sales and viewers. Furthermore, modeling opportunities would increase allowing petites to have a chance. Chance decides everything! "
-Stephanie Ann Litchy 5'4

" Hello, I'm a 5'5 petite model. Wouldn't you think the industry world would use more petite models to market products, such as clothing designer lines? Why are we not seeing this with petite modeling in high fashion? Can't we see a mixture of tall AND petite's walking the runway? How about industry sales, I would think they would go up!!! Think about it, petites in runway, make-up, fashion shows, ect, modeling famous designer cloths. I would think the industry would be pleased with the change, if they would just give us a chance. Petites are not being seen or heard. I'll tell you what, with Perfectly Petite Magazine launching in the works, it will help make the change, and open doors for us petites."
-Cynthia Wagener 5'5

" I know that there are as many petites out there as there are tall models, and there are more and more petite clothing stores popping up everywhere. It's not like there's no clothes to model or a market
to model it to. I think it's sad that they don't use us. There's lot's of pretty petites out there."
-Josee Clift 5'3

" Perfectly Petite does not define one by size, but by character, potential, and poise. Great things DO come in small packages."
-Rachel Pearson 5'3

" I feel that we work so hard to keep our appearance excellent, and that we get put down because according to the Fashion Industry we are short! I personally am going to strive to keep myself bright and uplifted no matter what the industry hands me, because I simply adore fashion."
-Hope Leigh Gregg 5'6

" I have always found it ironic that the magazines celebrating our individuality tend to employ a very rigid standard for their covers. Especially when it comes to high fashion magazines. Things are slowly evolving, but with the majority of models being tall, thin, and white, it's a very monotonous image. Women want to see more variety, something they can relate to. Until this is realized, we have magazines such as " Mode " and " Perfectly Petite."
-Christy Allen 5'6

" There are so many beautiful, talented, and photogenic women in today's society. However, the public only sees the tip of the iceberg, since the vast majority of these wonderful woman are under 5'9. Just
because our legs and torso aren't as stretched out as the "super models," does not mean that we aren't as sexy as they are. Just remember, you're only seeing the tip of the iceberg! "
